At the age of ten, Toni saw her first images come to light in her family's dark room. At the age of 15, she had her first show of photography in Philadelphia. As she grew older, Toni kept that passion and eventually developed a photography book of Philadelphia's famous and culturally diverse Italian Market. Toni brings an east coast practicality to picture taking that is only matched by the spontaneous spirit that brought her to Vail Colorado. After working as a photojournalist and graphic designer, Toni created Axelrod Photography. In addition to expanding her business into the international arena, she continues her work as a freelance photographer for the New York Times.

Toni Axelrod has been awarded 2 Colorado Press Awards in photography and has been voted Vail/Eagle County’s Best Photographer.

Axelrod Photography focuses on destination wedding photography with a photojournalistic approach, corporate, commericial and product photography and special event phtoography. Axelrod Photography serves many national and international locations as well as its local network of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Aspen, and Denver Colorado.
